The Jessamine Humane Society sponsors an annual 5K/2K race and fun run/walk. The 2009 "Skelter for the NEW Shelter" is scheduled for Saturday, June 6. Mark this date on your calendar and join us for lots of fun. Dogs and their owners are invited to walk or run to help raise funds for a NEW shelter for the Jessamine Humane Society!! The 2008 "Skelter for the Shelter" was held on Saturday, May 31, at the Camp Nelson White House on US 27. Dogs and their owners were invited to walk or run to help raise much-needed funds for the Jessamine Humane Society. ride for rusty
The Jessamine Humane Society is holding the 2nd annual "Ride for Rusty", a motorcycle ride and 5 Card Draw poker game. The ride consists of 5 stops along a scenic pre-determined route that begins at the Humane Society in Nicholasville, KY and ends at Champions Sports Bar & Grill in Richmond, KY.
- Date: Sunday, June 29, 2008
- Time: 1:00 p.m. - Registration starts at 12:00 p.m.
- Cost: $5 per hand or 3 hands for $10
Free T-Shirts for the first 100 riders! Amazing Door Prizes, $100.00 for the best hand and $25.00 for the worst hand and dinner is on us!
